Located on a gently sloping lifestyle section close to the Whatawhata Village the setting boasts elevated views across the countryside and back to the city. The project was designed for an extended family living arrangement which was the main influence behind the final layout and planning.

The house is broken into different wings and volumes comprising living and bedroom spaces inspired by a modern take on the traditional barn house.

The dwelling is complemented with a swimming pool and workshop.
