We were engaged to design a number of high end duplex units on a challenging inner-city section. The site was maximized with four units and due to the challenging nature of the site each unit is uniquely designed from the other. Two street front units will optimize northern and river outlooks, whilst the rear units will offer privacy and elevated platforms.

A controlled yet practical palette of materials was chosen to complement simples lines whilst requiring minimal ongoing maintenance for the end users. Careful internal planning by minimizing circulation space enabled larger open plan living spaces to be created.

We worked closely with the contractor throughout the design stages to achieve the desired vision and outcome.
